Leaf Screens and Leaf Protection

A major complaint about gutters is that they seem to cause more trouble than they are worth. They collect leaves, shingle grit, sticks, and anything else falling from the sky. Once clogged, gutter start to leak, rust (if they are old galvanized steel), or even grow plants.

We offer three solutions to this problem (including leaf screens) :

The heavy-duty leaf screens are made of powder-coated steel.

Small openings (about the diameter of a pencil) allow water to drain into the gutter while blocking larger debris. These are ideal for properties with broadleaf trees. We do not recommend installing leaf screens on gutters where trees with blossoms or tassels are growing.

The Rainy Day Gutter Cover is a solid cover system that fits under the bottom row of shingles, clips on to the gutter, and overhangs the gutter edge by ½”. This rounded front profile prevents debris from clogging the gutter while still allowing water to drain into the gutter. Imagine pouring water on your countertop and watching it roll over the edge and drip back down the front of your cabinet. The Rainy Day Gutter Cover uses the same principle – surface tension of the water keeps it running right into the gutter. It even works great in heavy downpours. The Gutter Covers are the best solution available and are preferred over Leaf Screens and RapidFlow Gutter Protection.
